Masks Required in the Theatre

Due to Shiawassee County being considered a “High” community transmission area,  Lebowsky Center for Performing Arts is requiring Masks within the theatre. Our cast and crew are currently vaccinated for their protection and yours. Cleaning protocols have been instituted between shows. No food or beverage will be provided at intermission and we ask that you please remain in your seat unless using the restroom.

SOUND OF MUSIC

Considered by many to be the world’s most beloved musical, The Sound of Music tells the story of the enthusiastic and musical Maria, who is sent to the home of Captain George Von Trapp to be the governess of his seven children, ultimately bring music, laughter, and love back to their home. The Tony, Grammy and Academy Award-winning score by Rodgers and Hammerstein features such beloved songs as “My Favorite Things,” “Edelwiess,” and “Climb Every Mountain.”

CLUE On Stage

Based on the iconic 1985 Paramount movie which was inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, Clue is a hilarious farce-meets-murder mystery. The tale begins at a remote mansion, where six mysterious guests assemble for an unusual dinner party where murder and blackmail are on the menu. Join the iconic oddballs known as Scarlet, Plum, White, Green, Peacock, and Mustard as they race to find the murderer in Boddy Manor as the body count stacks up.

Welcome to the Renaissance! Set in the ‘90s – the 1590s – this hilarious smash tells the story of Nick and Nigel Bottom, two brothers who are desperate to write their own hit play while the “rock star” Shakespeare keeps getting all the hits. When a local soothsayer foretells that the future of theater involves singing and dancing and acting at the same time, Nick and Nigel set out to write the world’s first Musical!
